MAPS Capital Management

Jacek Wagner is an associate partner at MAPS Capital Management. He brings to MAPS Interactive a strong background in data architecture, applications design and development with broad experience in ecommerce, business intelligence and B2B platforms. Jacek joins us from Transpera, a mobile video ad network where he was responsible for Business Intelligence solutions.

He started his career at Query Objects as chief architect of their lossless fractal compression solution for relational databases. Through his efforts, his software team developed the QO platform adopted by numerous financial institutions and is in use by all major telecommunication carriers worldwide. As a result, the company successfully executed an IPO and eventual acquisition by an Italian telecom company.

At Customer Dynamics, Jacek designed and developed the Marketing Analysis System for Transaction Extraction and Reporting (MASTER), a knowledge discovery system that improved customer retention for retail companies and in the grocery industry. He also architected and managed development of telecommunication software package at IQ Labs for Visa and Arthur Andersen creating the first web-based solution to provide real-time control of voice and data resources.

As chief architect at Global Network Privacy, Jacek managed development of an ultra-secure ASP hosting and e-commerce service application using RSA Public-Key Infrastructure and Bluefish cipher.

Earlier he directed program development at Netgami Technologies, pioneering the first Secure Device Discovery Network allowing objects developed in Java to be moved across mobile devices on Symbian and Palm operating systems.

At Sitoa, Jacek was responsible for creating a comprehensive B2B e-tailing engine providing a complete, scalable solution to connect suppliers and online retailers. It provided clients like Sears and major retailers a real time Business Intelligence system to manage real and virtual inventories.

As an independent consultant, Jacek Wagner has provided data analysis, design, and development of various data intensive applications including a Registration System, eCommerce, and Point of Sale.
