School Powers helps students understand the important role of energy in our lives and provide an opportunity to take charge of their energy world and a path to a sustainable future

We provide social media tools to students to help become a School Powers school. Our collateral materials can be used to educate all involved including teachers, the community and PTA.

We use social media to connect the community of School Powers member schools into an international network of energy conscious youth.

School Powers connects participating schools into a network of renewable energy power communities. The solar energy you create and use is visible to all. Your success provides a powerful incentive to help other schools to join. How you get your community to support solar energy at your school helps us prioritize one school project over another.

Students can see how other schools have achieved success in converting to solar energy and participate in their own school project from construction to switching over to solar power. Teachers and students appoint team leaders at the classroom level helping parents, community leaders and local business to get involved. For example, one idea is a donation wall at your school that shows the success of how anyone participates as a sponsor

School Powers provides a customized curriculum guide for classrooms to inform everyone involved on solar power generation and distribution. You get to learn about the social and political economics of adopting renewable energy, sustainability, global warming and how distributed solar power plays a very important role. Become a leader in this movement.

Every school has its own web site showing at any moment how much solar energy is produced and used through our advanced monitoring system.

At any time you can see how much greenhouse gas is avoided by using solar energy from your campus. You also help your community since the solar power you don't use is sent back to the utility for others to consume. Our aim is to make this learning process rewarding and fun for students of all ages.
